Welcome to Home Economics 102! Over the course of eight weeks, your kids/teens will join Chef Pamela in the kitchen to learn and prepare healthy, authentic, and delicious recipes. We've created an awesome curriculum for kids and teens who love to cook. This course includes 3 field trips, including the farmers market, an actual restaurant kitchen tour, during business hours, and an agricultural farm. More importantly, understanding the power of food, how it fuels our body, and the importance of fresh ingredients --- particularly with fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, lean meats and seafood. We're actively promoting a healthy relationship with food, which we hope will inspire and encourage both kids and teens who enjoy eating delicious food, that's good for them, as well as good to them!
